As my Old Testament knowledge increases the richness and depth of the New Testament becomes that more alive in my life and teachings. Christopher Wright, does an excellent job in this book showing how Israel and Jesus were both to be blessings to the nations.

Through each of them, God's grace to mankind is by: Dr. Christopher J.H. Wright, in his book Knowing Jesus through the Old Testament, has produced an effective book that draws the Old and New Testament together. He has done an excellent job pointing out that Jesus is the lynch pin of this necessary merging/5(35).

Knowing Jesus through the Old Testament is an eloquently insightful, although fundamentally flawed, text written by Dr. Christopher J. Wright whose intention was to place Jesus within the intellectually historical context of the Old Testament/5.
